COVID-19

Updates regarding the impact of the virus on our event. Check back regularly for updates.

Masks are required for all WasabiCon attendees (ages 2 and up) regardless of vaccination status. An approved mask is required to be worn covering the nose and mouth while indoors except when eating and drinking while stationary.

An approved face mask has two or more layers of fabric. It must completely cover your nose and mouth. Additionally, it cannot have any exhalation valves or vents. Neck gaiters, mesh material, and triangle bandanas are not acceptable on their own. However, they may be worn in addition to an approved face mask.

Masks are optional when on stage or during a panel presentation. This means you can remove your mask:

  • If you are hosting a panel from behind the head table in Panels A or Panels B.
  • If you are on the stage presenting or performing in Main Events.

Green Mustard Entertainment works with each of WasabiCon’s hotels and host properties to make sure all reasonable health and safety measures are in place during our events. However, an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. By agreeing to be a part of WasabiCon, you understand that you are voluntarily assuming all risks related to exposure to COVID-19, and any potential variants, while attending the event or any activities directly or indirectly related to it.

You can stay up to date with the most updated information on the CDC’s COVID-19 website.

Failure to adhere to these guidelines can and will result in you being asked to leave the event without a refund.

Thank you for helping make WasabiCon 2021 a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone!
