About WasabiCon

Started in 2012 as Newcon PDX (and momentarily renamed to Fandom PDX in 2018) – WasabiCon PDX is Portland, Oregon’s local pop culture event for fans of cosplay, anime, gaming and everything “geek.”

The two-day convention features celebrity guests, local artists, exhibitors, gaming, panels, contests and much more. Daytime programming and events are designed to be all-ages, with content presented for older attendees scheduled in the evening. In 2021, WasabiCon PDX attracted over 2,200 attendees.

The Sheraton Portland Airport

This year’s convention will take place at the Sheraton Portland Airport Hotel located at 8235 NE Airport Way, Portland, OR 97220. Parking is free for attendees.

The Sheraton is offering a special convention-only rate of $129 a night during the weekend. Reservations must be made on or before August 5, 2021, so don’t miss out!

Saturday Only Pass – $25
Sunday Only Pass – $20
Weekend Pass Pass – $30 before July 31st. $40 after that.
